Couldn't we discuss this more effectively on the GNU newsgroup? Some of us have never, and probably will never consider using GNU products. This topic is for technical discussion of a language that a lot of people are getting excited about. Let's concentrate on getting the word out about the benefits of using the language, and not on the details of whose system is best to use.
