All the time, there are people telling us that we're idiots for not using GCC. All I'm trying to do... all I'm trying to do... is explain why we'd be idiots to use it. If you can't see that, then at least have the courtesy to refrain from flaming my explanation. I write freely redistributable software. I suppose I could put some nasty insert in there to the effect that you couldn't use it in any software that falls under the GNU copyleft.
