However, to answer your question, I have been using a program called QTERM which I have found to be a neat little program in that it not only offers VT100 emulation, it offers a variety of protocols, like Xmodem in almost every of its incarnations, including Modem-7 batch. It also supports Ymodem. The one thing that ought to make it a boon with calling Unix systems is that it has the Kermit transfer protocol.
