For a distribution, what I would like is to boot MINIX in the usual way, then on the /usr diskette have a small shell script that copies things to hard disk and decompresses them. The decompression should just be a regular program, but there is no objection to it's using disk files, as MINIX will be running when it is called. ANdy Tanenbaum (ast@cs.vu.nl)
