Message-ID: <7888@xyzzy.UUCP> Date: 19 Jul 89 14:14:40 GMT Sender: usenet@xyzzy.UUCP Reply-To: clegg@dg-rtp.dg.com (Alan Clegg) Organization: Data General Corporation, Research Triangle Park, NC Lines: 30 #1) I now have the distributed UUPC up and running on my Minix machine, and about every 1 out of 5 times I can get a connection. The other 4 times, I get: gspack: tt=2 xxx=1 yyy=0 k=2 sum=-29957 |H\000\000\000\000\000 ... \00! waiting for input pkt seq=1 => l=0 h=0 g=0 Lost packet... gspack: tt=0 xxx=2 yyy=0 k=9 sum=-21862 Sending RJ... recv=0 => l=0 h=0 g=0 ... repeats ... Lost packet... Top level state (master mode) At that point, uucico quits, and leaves the line connected and the LCK file in /usr/spool/uucp. Anybody have any ideas on this one? #2: Does anybody have a description of the protocol being used at this point?
