Message-ID: <26236@srcsip.UUCP> Date: 24 Jul 89 13:16:04 GMT Sender: news@src.honeywell.COM Lines: 17 I am attempting to convince a relation to purchase an Amiga. He works for a reasonably well known hard disk manufacturer. His company gets a discount on M*c products, so the M*cIIcx is about the same price as the Amiga 2500. I, of course, tell him not to be silly, and to go buy an Amiga, since I have tons of excellent PD software, the hardware is better, it multitasks, etc, et al... I am beginning to convince him. Trouble is, he is a serious hardware designer. One of his *needs* is a good version of Spice. I grabbed ASpice awhile back, but it is not Amigatized, it doesn't do graphics, and it doesn't make use of the 68020 or 68881. He needs complex input waveforms, graphics, 50-100 nodes, and an Arexx port would be nice (he doesn't know about that yet. But I know he could use it). So, folks, any ideas? Like, the future of his purchase hangs on this! (of course, I told him about the '286 card, and I*M compatibility. that is a possibility. But, like, *yuck*!!)
