Since you already had a 2000 and a hard disk, all you needed to buy was the A2620. Maybe it is not too late to return the 2500 and buy the A2620. By the way, unless you want UNIX support (autoboot to UNIX only works between the A2620 and A2090), the GVP controller with its Quantum SCSI drive is about 2.5 times faster than the A2090 and ST-506 drive supplied with the 2500.
