On the SR10 machines, we occassionally can not send messages -- we get something similar to the following: $ mail -v krowitz Subject: test abcd *** EOF *** Cc: krowitz... Connecting to .local... mail: mail: can't find mail group krowitz... Sent At At other times, we have no problems sending messages. Does anyone have any ideas about about the "mail: mail: can't find mail group" means? -- David Krowitz krowitz@richter.mit.edu (18.83.0.109) krowitz%richter@eddie.mit.edu krowitz%richter@athena.mit.edu krowitz%richter.mit.edu@mitvma.bitnet (in order of decreasing preference)
