Thanks to all who offered suggestions/support.  I was using my //e version
of Kermit 3.85, which was based on appssc.hex, and I am using the gs modem
port.  Therefore I simply ftp'd to columbia for appgs.hex and re-exec'ed
kermit.  I'm using it now.  Once again, thanks all!!!  --Jeff Stern.
