WHY does ProDOS 8 NEED to support them? It would take a lot more code to support it and there simply isn't room for it. Without a resource manager for ProDOS 8, and there is no need for that either, ProDOS should merely return an error when asked to work with a forked file. I have a question about System Disk 5.0. When and how do we get a complete update on the toolbox ref manuals, and GSOS ref manuals that explains all the new tool calls and Resource manager calls?
