Message-ID: <19890723180959.6.JRD@MOA.SCRC.Symbolics.COM> Date: 23 Jul 89 18:09:00 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 12 My Mega-4 has recently developed what I think is a power-supply problem. When I power it on, it sometimes fails to boot; the video's not working (sort of low-intensity unsynchronized hash), the floppette light does not come on, but the keyboard pilot light does. Most interesting, the fan runs at what sounds like about 1/2 speed. Powering off and on a few times gets it going. Anybody ever heard of anything like this? Assuming it is the supply, does anyone know if I can just order a replacement from Atari, or am I better off fighting it out with one of the local dealers? Thanks for any info.
