Message-ID: <1643@sactoh0> Date: 24 Jul 89 07:16:09 GMT Organization: SAC-UNIX (Public Access), Sacramento, Ca. Lines: 27 I have a few questions about the DC Format program. I use a Mega 4 with a configured 1.44Mb Rambaby RAM drive (D:) and I was wondering about the reliability of the 82 track 10 sector 2 sided format. Is it more reliable to use the 80 track selection or even the nine sector scheme? Or just go back to the Mega format? And about the step rate (3,6,9, if I remember properly), what is the function of that selector? I use 6, as that is the way I got the program. And does the program crash whenever you select the "?" box? I don't know about the use of DC on non-Mega STs, but I cannot get out of it once selected, and I have to re-boot. Please clarify, thanks in advance.
