I have never heard complaints concerning compatibility, the clones of the 1541 however, never work 100% compatible! The 1581 (3.5 inch) yes, a very good drive, but I don't feel the support around me, like the 1541...But that could diver from country. I hope I'd supply you with usefull info, say could you help me with obtaining Kermit 2.1 ? It has been released, but here in Holland...you know ?
