I have seen that garbage also.  Fsck in and of itself will not clean them up.
What you have to do to fix it is use find(1) to locate those inodes and then
delete the files.  What version of UMAX 4.2 are you running?  I haven't seen
those errors for a couple of versions now, I believe.
