About one or two months ago I remember reading in one of the trade journals or PC magazines (probably PC Week, PC Magazine, Infoworld, or PC/Computing) about new technology that allows multi-megabyte storage on 3.5" microfloppies. I seem to recall that a 10-meg system was to be released into the market very soon, with 20-meggers to follow, perhaps later this summer. It of course required a specialized drive, and I think also specialized microfloppies (super-duper-high-density, or some such name, they were calling it). But I'll be darned if I can't find the article now, even though we keep old copies around for a while, and I'm sure the magazines are still in our library. Just too many magazines to look through. We've scanned lots of tables of content, looking up all the possible titles, but to no avail. The reason why we're looking, and why I'm posting, is that one of my associates is *very* anxious to find out more about these. In fact, after all this searching, I'm starting to question my sanity (and so is my associate!). So I'd just be happy to get some responses that say, "yeah, I saw that too, you're remembering it right". But what I'm really hoping for is that someone out there can tell me where I saw it, or point me to *any* articles or information on these multi-meggers, a manufacturer, distributor, phone number, anything! Thanks a bunch, Scott Dalrymple Scott_A_Dalrymple@cup.portal.com Computer Sciences Corporation
