Convert the file from hex using Bin/Hex 5.0 or some similar utility. 2. Now the file is in either Stuffit or PackIt format. Run the correct program to open the archive. 3. Now you should have all the Mac files that were in the archive as well as the .sit or .pit files on your disk. 4. Throw away the .sit/.pit files and throw away the .hqx file you started with.
