The MacTCP version of NCSA Telnet 2.3 has a completely new network module that uses MacTCP instead of Tim & Gaige's network code. Yeah, it might be possible to tune it a little more (although it still gives a lot better performance than the non-MacTCP version), but I can't see anything else.
