It shows the following resources: BNDL ID = -4064 cdev "MacEnvy" ID = -4064 CNTL ID = -4045 (also 4046 4047 4048) DITL ID = -4064 envy ID = 0 FREF ID = -4064 ICN# (looks like an icon with screen and keyboard) ICON (shows six icons with one in a square) mach ID = -4064 ncrt ID = -4064 PICT (with a stylized font reading MacEnvy) vers ID = 1 When I double-click FREF it says File Type cdev, icon localID 0, and fileName (blank). I typed in MacEnvy as fileName. The Get Info box, however, shows MacEnvy with a generic document icon, Kind: says "document", though it knows that this is MacEnvy 1.0 by Ken McLeod. When I put this file in my system folder, it isn't treated like a cdev, i.e., it doesn't show up in my control panel. Anyone know what's wrong? Steve Goldfield P.S. I am using ResEdit Version 1.2b2 which came with some commercial software I own. Is that too old a version?
