How's your greyscale? Lines: 17 Writing a printer driver (old system 6!). How do I print greyscales and high resolution images (>72dpi). The typesetting markup language that I use can cope with high res and greyscale. What I want to know is how to 'con' the mac into giving me the data from the original scanned in bitmap (which is grey levelled and / or resolution greater than 72dpi). Do I set resolution in my printing grafport (at present set to 72dpi so that I can set the pen position in the markup language using points - units of 72 dots per inch) or some other dodge? (Ignoring for present those applications that use PDEF7) Thanks Peter Sutton
