True enough for applications I suppose. But I wonder if Objective C could do WDEFs, CDEFs (ie. stand alone code) and still take advantage of object orientedness (can C++?). Also, and probably more important, Objective C is a proprietary product of Stepstone, Inc. and they charge in the neighborhood of $2500 for the Sun version of Objective C.
