This may well have been an elementary question (I admit it, and

Do you REALLY think that such people are to be found "all across the
country"?  Think again.  There's no one of that description at my
university, and I suspect MANY people who are genuinely interested in
this machine are in the same position.  I'm interested in BUYING one,
and I can't find anyone to sell me one (and I "qualify"; I'm on the
faculty here).
