(SunOS 4.0.1, Sun 4/280)
Our cron daemon is crashing about twice a week with the following
syslog entry:

Jul  6 04:11:03 emory cron: Can't stat /var/spool/cron/FIFO: Bad file number
Jul  6 04:11:03 emory cron: Can't stat /var/spool/cron/FIFO: Bad file number
Jul  6 04:11:03 emory cron: ******* CRON ABORTED ********
Jul  6 04:11:03 emory cron: ******* CRON ABORTED ********

Has anybody else seen this problem?  Any ideas on why?
