Keywords: SunOS Message-ID: <156@brazos.Rice.edu> Date: 12 Jul 89 17:17:32 GMT Sender: root@rice.edu Organization: Sun-Spots Lines: 17 Approved: Sun-Spots@rice.edu X-Sun-Spots-Digest: Volume 8, Issue 72, message 10 of 14 We use a serial port (ttya) for the console on our Sun 4, but would like to run X on the unused bitmap display/kbd/mouse. Unfortunately, it looks as if when autoconfing notices that ttya is the console, it never initializes the kbd/mouse, so the X server cannot open them. I presume the issue is the same for sunview. Is there any way around this?
