There is no fiber-optics ethernet connection to our building. How can I get an ethernet connection to a VAX/VMS (or other ) machine in a building 1/8th of a mile away? Phone lines? Twisted Pair'? whatever that is. Right now I am using (slow) kermit and a port to interface. Would LOVE to get that ethernet into play!! Any comments will be appreciated. Thanks Omar A.
