I was using ZANSI.DVD for the ANSI mode testing. I KNOW ANSI.DVD is a piece of junk. However, I also drop characters in "normal" mode. I have the same problem with BesTerm, and in neither case is it an overwhelming difficulty. I normally use 2.29 for GP modemming, and rarely lose stuff, about average for the way my fingers hit the keys. The problem seems to come up most often in editors (on Unix mostly) and in posting routines on BBS's. Most of the the things you worked so hard to add to the program, I don't ever use.
