	I have a Data General D210 terminal. The manual says that the
terminal goes into the on-line mode if it senses the connection to the
host. Could anyone suggest how I could use it with a Hayes modem to
dial a host and connect to it.

	Also, would anyone know if I can loop back 2&3 and 4&5 on the
serial port and get the terminal to echo itself in the online mode. I
tried to do this, but the terminal still refused to go into the online
mode(i.e. the on-line keeps blinking, does not hold steady).
