It may be that you need to run "infocmp at386 >at386.tic", edit the resulting at386.tic file to remove the "xt" flag, and then run "tic at386.tic". The xt or "teleray_glitch" flag is used to indicate to termcap/terminfo that it should compensate for some wierd behavior on the part of the Teleray 1061 terminal. I can't see any reason why it flag was ever set in the at386 termcap and terminfo entries, but it is... or was. Some time ago, I found that this flag was causing GNU Emacs to scramble it's display on the 386 console. I fixed my termcap file - that's easy - but it was thanks to this group that I learned how to fix it in terminfo. regards, Larry -- Signed: Larry A.
