	We have noticed some problems with BibTeX version 0.99c.
Our old version did not have these problems.  Can anyone verify or
solve these?

(1) bibtex does not search $TEXINPUTS for .bib files
(2) The name Jin-yi Cai came out as "yi Cai, J." and was
    alphabetized under Y.
(3) The name Josep {\Diaz} was alphabetized under \ (before any
    other names).  I preferred the old behavior of alphabetizing
    it under D.  BTW, \Diaz expands to D\'{\imath}az, but I don't
    expect bibtex to discover that.
