I once set up a computer with Windows/386 where windows had a lot of problems accessing the hard drive. Someone at MS vaguely suggested that I try putting the line virtualhdirq=off in the [win386] section. That did the trick, but wouldn't it have saved MS and myself a lot of time / expense if this was documented somewhere?
