I'm using m-sequent.h; s-bsd4-2.h to build. Everything (apparently) compiles OK, but the executable never picks up any of the environment variables (TERM, DISPLAY, etc.) correctly. dbx shows getenv() returning NULL every time it's called. A stupid test program correctly prints out the correct value of TERM, TERMCAP, whatever. Any thoughts on what might be going on here. Replies from those who have managed to build 18.54 on Sequent Symmetry machines would be appreciated. -- Ed (anselmo-ed@cs.yale.edu)
