C News/nntp creates mode 0666 files in /usr/spool/news/in.coming.
Only mildly disturbing, since they disappear quickly.

This is a side effect of umask 0 being passed from init to rc to inetd
to nntpd.  Entertaining the idea of adding "umask 2" to /etc/rc, but
not sure what that will break...

Maybe batch.c should look at NEWSUMASK?  Hmm..
