My cockatoos throw out some of the pellets too. A bit confusing that a bird would choose one identical item from another and that one would end up outside the cage. Unfortunately, if you are looking for a clean up solution, pellets aren't necessarily the answer. However, the Fenix feeders (sp?) with the high rounded back *do* cut down quite a bit on cockatoo mess. I highly recommend them. A good vaccuum can't hurt either :-) Mikki barry --
