    The USNI DB is about a year old now.  Originally started as a strictly
NAval repository, the DB has been expanding to include most military h/w,
foreign as well as U.S.  Use of the DB is open to DB subscribers (a fee,
which is lower for USNI members).  Call 800-443-7216.
