        RESEARCH ASSISTANTSHIP
        EXPRESSION OF HIV EPITOPES IN BCG

        Systems are now available for the cloning and expression of
        foreign genes in the mycobacterial vaccine strain BCG. This post
        is connected with a project to express HIV and SIV epitopes in
        BCG, and is a joint development between our mycobacterial and
        molecular virology research programmes. The post will be for
        three years, and could enable a suitably qualified candidate to
        work for a PhD.
