I have been running 2.4 ever since they released the upgrade from 2.2/2.3
and have _never_ seen this happen.  This is probably because I also
obtained from uPort their HDB UUCP package--available on diskette,
sans support, for $20 at that time.  I don't know the current situation
with respect to getting it, though.
