Do dial-up interface units exist, In order to have to lans (remotely) connect, you will need to employ some form of communications bridge. You can use a variety of connection methods, such as X.25, T1 or satellite link, depending on your need for speed and the budget requirements. One company that I am familiar with do offer good products to accomplish this - Eicon Technologies of Ottawa, Ont. Canada.
