Scanning is just one way of getting these images. We are using SCR2GIF, a shareware program by Bill Fleisher of Kentwood, MI successfully. This is a screen capture utility, which will then also convert captured screen (can be generated with just about any program) to GIF format. Another way generate GIF is through Hijaak, by Inset Systems, a really universal conversion program (It supports a whole lot of different formats, GIF is one of them.) Yet another program we're working with is ColoRIX by Rix Softworks, it supports 800x600 resolution with 256 colors. ColoRiX imports all Targa formats and exports them. It's possible to import Targa and then generate (through ColoRiX) a .SCR file -which in turn can be made in to a GIF with the Help of SCR2GIF. By the way: We make hi-resolution slides from all of the above...call me at (713) 526-2331 or call our board at (713) 630-0553. Roger Hausmann. Kingdom Productions. Houston,TX
