Does anyone have a document describing TIFF files in a fairly general way?
I have a colleague who is interested in them and wants to find out
something.

I have another colleague who is trying to understand the format of
MacPaint files, so he can transfer them to a general-purpose framestore.
Any pointers, anyone?
