     I am considering taking a graduate level course in OOL, 
which requires programming in smalltalk-80.  This class is 
offered through a satellite network, and as such I do not 
have access to the computer facilities at the school offering 
the class.  Does anyone out there know if a shareware smalltalk-80 
compiler exists for the IBM-PC.  If not, how about any recommendations 
regarding commercially available products, again targeted for 
the IBM-PC?  When making suggestions, please consider that while 
I do have experience with C++, I have no prior experience with 
smalltalk.  Please respond by e-mail, and if there are numerous 
responses I will post a summary.
