Keywords: zmodem news batches Message-ID: <86@csnz.co.nz> Date: 3 Aug 89 23:15:34 GMT Reply-To: paul@csnz.co.nz (Paul Gillingwater) Organization: Computer Sciences of NZ Limited Lines: 15 Hi, Has anybody installed ZMODEM as the protocol of choice for a dedicated news feed? I want to install a news link between New Zealand and Australia for a CUG usenet distribution, probably with Trailblazers. SHould I stick to uucp spoofing under PEP, or can I get better throughput from a non-spoofed ZMODEM? I'd like to see the wrappers for programs that replace the uucp protocol with zmodem, but that offer the same sort of features as HDB, *and* allow talking uucp to other sites. echo "thanks" >/dev/future -- Paul Gillingwater, Computer Sciences of New Zealand Limited Bang: ..!uunet!dsiramd!csnz!paul Domain: paul@csnz.co.nz Call Magic Tower BBS V21/23/22/22bis 24 hrs +0064 4 767 326
