Subject: ftp'ing Minix stuff from bugs with VAXVMS

I have had trouble ftp'ing any of the articles archived at bugs.nosc.mil
because I am running from VAXVMS and it doesn't like "@" signs in filenames
and hence aborts a "get" operation of any article. It is ok to just "type"
text, but this isn't too good for significant length postings.

Anyone with VAXVMS ftp experience got any ideas ?
