HP has introduced a 2x325 Mbyte stand-alone single-platter SCSI drive based on the Sony mechanism and using the continuous-composite format. Ask your local sales office for information about product C1701A. We have also announced a 32-platter autochanger, also SCSI. Technical details are only available for the OEM version at present.
