As suggested by another poster I tried a few more things. 

1: Mac II worked fine.
2: On Mac Plus I removed Responder. Everything worked fine.
3: Found out that I was using Responder 1.0 (even though I had 6.0.3 installed)
    Replaced with 1.0.1.  NO CHANGE. Still had problems.
4: Removed Responder and installed RegisterName (from TOPS).
   EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT!!!

Anybody have any idea why responder messes things up?
