Unfortunately, this software is not currently available for the 386i architecture. With the cooperation of some helpful tech support engineers, a Request For Enhancement (RFE# 1024808) has been filed, to have a 386i version compiled and placed on uunet. Sun is obviously doing a lot of work these days, and your help is needed to let Sun know how important this is to its customers. If you have a 386i, and require direct bind/named support, please log a service call with Sun refering to RFE# 1024808. Also, please drop me a note (to: ittai@nyu.edu) so that I can track the demand myself... >From previous dicussions on both TCP-IP and SUN-SPOTS, I know this is important to others; please speak up (and no flaming please!). -Ittai -------
