Did you make /usr/games/lib/nethackdir/nethack setuid or setgid?

here's how mine is set up: 

/usr/games:
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root     play            3 Apr 24 15:46 nethack -> .gr

[.gr is the game regulator program, which will call nethack, the shell script]

/usr/games/lib:
