Lines: 37 I realize people don't like their groups cluttered with meaningless letters, so I'll leave an Email address for replies and try to keep things short - I read the newuser article to this group, but I think it needs serious updating, as I still have several BASIC questions I would like to have answered, JUST more hardware/software reccomendations... 1) I have an A1000, and I am considering a 2000HD -- why is this system so less expensive than the 2500? I thought the only diff. was 2.0MB less mem. Also- does any one accept 1000 trade-ins? 2) I want an AMAXX mac emulator (don't ask me why...), But I know absoultely NOTHING about it. (how and how well does it work?) 3) I am considering low cost Genlock and Digitizer. They should be compatable with both the A1000 (for now) and B2000 (possibly for later). Any reccomendations here? 4) Finally, I will buy (in near future) a graphics/animation package. It should include: 3D rotation; cell, color animation; inclusion of IFF pics & digitized sound; and hopefully, ability to read more info from a DMA hard disk (if I get the 2000HD) DURING a sequence, thus allowing longer movies. I am not rich (especially if I but any of the other stuff I want), but I would like this to be a package I can 'grow in to' (READ: I'm not afraid of spending more $ for more features, but I don't want to overdo it.). Reply Email or post on net (whatever you think is best), but regardless, I would like to see the results in newuser. (I for one try to wait for origional topics before posting, but I was left with little alternative.)
