Subject: Un-Zing files....

I've noticed that quite a few files available for anonymous FTP are stored 
in a compressed format with ".Z" as a suffix.  These seem to require a 
program for un-compression that supports 16 bit LZW, while the only program 
that I have for the Amiga seems to max out at 14 bits.
 
1.  Is such a program available for the Amiga?  If so where (hopefully 
reachable via anonymous FTP on the ARPAnet)?
 
2.  Is such a beast available for a VMS VAX?
