Ken, I got the floppy disk you sent with Kermit385 on it and the "packer" programs on the other side. Thank you very much for the help. I "exec"ed the app385.init and app385.install and then "brun"ed kermit385. After a couple of seconds I got dumped into the monitor with the various register values diplayed. I thought maybe if I tranferred the files to a DOS 3.3 disk instead of ProDos it might correct the situation. So I used the conversion program to transfer the files from ProDos to DOS 3.3 and then "exec"ed app385.init and app385.install. When I "brun"ed kermit385 the disk drive whirred for several seconds and then I got the Applesoft prompt back. Nothing else. Well I guess I'm just not supposed to have Kermit on my Apple IIE. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE HELP AND SENDING THE DISK. -- Bob Paster One Bell Center UUCP - sw1e!ucoerp Room 13-T-02 Southwestern Bell Tel. Co. St. Louis, Missouri 314-235-1897
