If you are refering to the first Apple //c Tech. Ref. Manual, The schematics in chapter 11 are backwards. The one titled 'hand control' is actually the 'mouse circuit' and vice-versa. What do you mean by "The mouse select is active (pin 1 on the 9 pin DIN connector)".
