I seem to have forgotten to mention that my problems occur with GS/OS 2.0
(System Disk 4.0).  I have been unable to find System Disk 5.0 yet.

-Make sure you have the latest ProFILE ROMs (dated 1986).  Your dealer can
-order a free upgrade if you don't.

Not only do I have the new ROM, but also I've installed the extra ground
run on the ProFile interface card.  Mystery still unsolved..
